A new gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
In the discussion, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European Scientology and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
